# @stackline/fstream

Compatibility-first continuation of `fstream@1.0.12` for Node.js 14.15.1 and
newer. It preserves the CommonJS filesystem object-stream namespace, Reader and
Writer factories, events, metadata, hard-link representation, and 14 historical
deep modules. Real ESM and TypeScript declarations are additive. It has no
browser build.
